August 21, 2010 Third Annual Best Buddies Hamptons Gala Water Mill (Hamptons), New York
Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney again will open their beautiful home to Best Buddies along with Co-Chairs Tatiana & Campion Platt; where some of our longest running supporters gather to put on another posh event in the Hamptons with new and continuing friends of Best Buddies.
This year’s event will feature a festive Southeast Asian theme, our signature Buddy Sous Chef Challenge, silent and live auctions, followed by a gourmet dinner and live entertainment, featuring a dance performance by Jeanine Mason and buddy Brett Banford, both of whom were former contestants on the popular TV show “So You Think You Can Dance”.

September 11, 2010 Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Hearst Castle Carmel & San Simeon, California
The ABBC: HC, chaired by First Lady of California, Maria Shriver is a 100, 62, 30 and 15-mile cycling adventure along the Pacific Coast Highway, from Carmel to the renowned Hearst Castle in San Simeon, with an optional 5K run and 3K walk. The ride is followed by celebrity tandem races a private concert, and a barbeque at Hearst Ranch.

October 23, 2010 Eunice Kennedy Shriver Challenge presented by Audi Washington, D.C.
The Eunice Kennedy Shriver Challenge, chaired by Washington Mayor Adrian Fenty, is a 20-mile cycling adventure starting and finishing at the Washington Monument on the National Mall, with an optional 3K/5K run/walk, relay and tandem bike races, and a 5K youth fun run. The athletic events are followed by a Victory Celebration and Awards Luncheon at the Washington Monument.

November 19, 2010 Fourteenth Annual Best Buddies Miami Gala Miami, Florida
Best Buddies International will celebrate the incredible milestone of “50 nations by 2010”; where more than 700 prominent guests attend this extraordinary event, which includes a gourmet dinner, outstanding entertainment and dancing. Celebrities, government officials, famous artists, major philanthropists and power brokers come together for an evening of fundraising and awareness at our signature annual gala. This year’s event will feature themed decor covering our 50 nation outreach and a private concert by the new pop-sensation Jason DeRülo.

March 18, 2011 Third Annual Best Buddies Palm Beach Gala Mar-A-Lago, Palm Beach, Fl
Long time supporters Mark and Mary Freitas and Best Buddies International Board Member Tommy Quick will co-chair the event, hosted in the sumptuous and exclusive Mar-A-Lago. The evening will include cocktails and dinner, exclusive silent and live auctions, followed by a private concert.

June 4, 2011 Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port Boston & Hyannis Port, Massachusetts
The ABBC: HP, chaired by Patriots Quarterback, Tom Brady is a 100, 50 and 20-mile cycling adventure from the JFK Library in Boston to Craigville Beach, near the Kennedy Compound on Cape Cod, with an optional 5K run and 3K walk. The ride is followed by celebrity tandem races, a lobster clambake and a private concert.

TBD, 2011 Third Bi-Annual Best Buddies Dallas Gala Dallas, Texas
The Dallas Gala is an incredible event, featuring a gourmet dinner and a private concert, hosted and underwritten by Jan & Jeff Rich of Dallas to help support Best Buddies endeavors in Texas. Jan and Jeff have committed themselves to chairing and hosting the event every other year.
