Redemption was founded on the simple value of giving back to society through a partial profit principle, pledging to give 50% of its profit to charity.
During the current global crisis they have stood by to this commitment and have now extend to donating 100% of all net online sales until the end of August to international charities, this will be equally devolved to the following associations: the Italian charity ActionAid, and the US charities Best Buddies and Meals on Wheels.
In this time of unspeakable suffering for many around the world, Redemption feels it is their duty to contribute in any way we can.
About Redemption
Redemption is a brand that was founded in 2013 to disrupt the status quo and promote an alternative business model within the global fashion system.
Redemption has long committed to celebrating the craft of fashion, and has always placed great emphasis on using its platform for good, harnessing the power of business to create social change. From the day the company was founded, the aim has been to donate half of all profits to supporting charitable causes and local and international NGOs.
Redemption is firmly committed to pushing the boundaries of responsible business through its holistic sustainability strategy.
About ActionAid
ActionAid is an independent international organization engaged in Italy and 44 countries, collaborating with more than 10,000 partners, alliances, NGOs, and social movements to combat poverty and social injustice. For over 40 years, ActionAid has been fighting alongside the poorest and most marginalised individuals and communities choosing to take their side, being aware that a collective effort of solidarity and justice is required to achieve real social change. A fair and just world for everyone: this is the vision from which ActionAid draws inspiration and life force. To make this world view a concrete reality, ActionAid has set itself a specific mission to pursue in the next 10 years: work to promote and animate spaces of democratic participation and to involve people and communities in the protection of their rights; collaborate locally, nationally and internationally to bring about change and to increase social equity, improving the quality of democracy and thus supporting those who live in situations of poverty and exclusion.
