Best Buddies in Arizona was excited to present Willow Canyon High School’s Best Buddies Club with the Top Overall School Chapter Award for the 2023-2024 school year. The club, which promotes friendships between students with and without disabilities, excelled through participation in state events, leadership training, and fundraising. Highlights include a holiday fundraiser, homecoming, prom, and raising $2,000 at the Best Buddies Friendship Walk.

Their efforts have also led to a nomination for the Best Buddies International Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award. The club’s dedication has significantly enhanced inclusion and support within the school community.
