Our Best Buddies Jobs participants are putting their best faces forward after completing a transformative mock interview workshop with Team One! This workshop is particularly meaningful as it honors the legacy of Byron, a cherished member of both the Best Buddies and Team One families.

Byron worked at Team One for an impressive ten years before he sadly passed away last year. He made a lasting impact on everyone at Team One, not just through his dedicated work, but also through his warm and welcoming presence. As one of his coworkers fondly recalled, “Byron was an integral part of the Team One family. He was the first person Team One employees saw at the office each day – there to greet you with a huge smile and ask how you were doing. To know him was truly to love him.”

In tribute to Byron’s remarkable legacy, Team One graciously hosted a mock interview workshop to support several of our participants in their job search. This initiative underscores the spirit of inclusion and support that Byron embodied and Team One continues to champion.

During the workshop, Team One’s dedicated team conducted interviews and took professional headshots, offering invaluable guidance and resources to our participants. Lorenzo, Shawn, Donovan, and Lisa each had the opportunity to hone their interview skills, receive feedback, and gain confidence in their professional presentation. The professional headshots taken during the workshop will also enhance their resumes and online profiles, giving them a polished and professional image as they pursue their dream jobs.
