The 2025 Best Buddies Connecticut Friendship Ball was a night to remember! On March 9th, 2025, over 400 attendees gathered at the beautiful Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville to celebrate friendship, inclusion, and the power of community. The theme for the evening was “Black and White,” symbolizing unity, and guests arrived in their most dazzling black-tie attire. From elementary school students to college members and citizens chapters, people of all ages came together to share in the magic of the night.

A Celebration of Friendship

The ballroom was filled with excitement as buddies, parents, advisors, and supporters arrived, ready for an unforgettable evening. The energy was electric as friends reconnected, new friendships blossomed, and everyone embraced the joy of being together. The evening was hosted by Kathleen Moran, a long-time Best Buddies participant and volunteer superstar. Her enthusiasm and warmth set the tone for a night of celebration. One of the most touching moments of the night was the Mission Moment speech by Margo Meley, a dedicated Best Buddies ambassador. She shared her personal journey with Best Buddies and the profound impact the program has had on her life, inspiring everyone in attendance.
