Community volunteers play a vital role in the outreach efforts and success of Eunie’s Buddies.
Each location is supported by an average of five community volunteers supervised by a State Director. A Lead Community Volunteer assists in identifying and coordinating other Community Volunteers and collaborates with the State Director to support the local implementation of the program.
Volunteers will be assigned roles based on their preferences and strengths.
Tasks may include:
- Assist in identifying individuals who are willing to serve as mentors.
- Cultivate relationships with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and relevant organizations, so they are aware of the program’s support services.
- Deliver materials to referral entities to ensure access to information and replenish materials as needed.
- Promote Eunie’s Buddies on social media platforms
- Coordinate support initiatives, workshops, or local socials
Commitment
Lead Community Volunteer
- Minimum two (2) hours per week time commitment.
Community Volunteer
- Minimum of (1) hour per week time commitment.
Support for Community Volunteers
All volunteers will have a designated point person who will provide support and address any questions or concerns that may arise throughout the process.
