Missouri’s Ethan Schroeder Named Global Ambassador for Best Buddies International

Best Buddies International proudly announces Ethan Schroeder as one of its newest Global Ambassadors. In this prestigious role, Ethan will represent the organization worldwide, advocating for inclusion, friendship, and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
As a Global Ambassador, Ethan will amplify the mission of Best Buddies by sharing his personal story and inspiring others to foster connections and build inclusive communities. His role will include public speaking at national and international events, engaging with community leaders, and empowering others to become advocates for inclusion.
Ethan has been an active and passionate member of Best Buddies in Missouri since its launch in 2016. He has participated in college chapters at Saint Louis University and Maryville University and is currently a member of the St. Louis Citizens Chapter. Over the years, Ethan has taken on leadership roles, attended Best Buddies Leadership Conferences, and spoken at schools and events across Missouri to spread awareness of the organization’s mission. He has also been a dedicated fundraiser, contributing significantly to initiatives such as the Friendship Walk and Champion of the Year.
“I am so excited to represent Missouri as a Best Buddies Global Ambassador,” said Ethan. “I can’t wait to be part of this group of awesome leaders and spread the mission of inclusion!”
Ethan’s impact extends beyond Best Buddies. He has been a Prep Specialist at Raising Cane’s since 2020 and is a proud graduate of Marquette High School. Ethan also participated in the inaugural cohort of the SUCCEED program at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he embraced campus life, DJed for the university radio station, and was nominated for homecoming court.
Known for his love of music, sports, and spending time with friends, Ethan embodies the values of inclusion and individuality. He lives in St. Louis with his mom, Beth, stepdad, Steve, and their two dogs, Ava and Emma. Ethan is also a proud brother to four siblings and uncle to one nephew.
