Best Buddies in Albany
Albany had their in-person Friendship Ball
On May 22nd, students, advisors, and parents from middle school, high school, and college Best Buddies chapters across the Capital Region came together for a Hollywood-themed afternoon. There was dancing, snacks, games, and of course friendship! The heat and sunshine didn’t stop everyone from showing off their best moves on the dance floor. Over 100 students from our Friendship Programs were in attendance, and it was truly a great afternoon!

Potluck Picnic at Tompkins Square
On June 4th, NYC hosted our annual Best Buddies Potluck Picnic at Tompkins Square Park! Everyone contributed to the picnic with different snacks, desserts, or beverages (including some delicious homemade cranberry white chocolate chip cookies!). We had a wonderful time hanging out with each other and meeting new friends Thank you to everyone who attended!

BBNY Jobs participant, Zach Smith spoke at the Kick off for the Best Buddies Challenge at EMK Institute in Boston, Ma. Zach was perfect, personable, and passionate in his purple Best Buddies jacket.

WNY Friendship Ball
On Friday, May 13th Best Buddies WNY hosted the Best Buddies Friendship Ball at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, NY. It was a hot and lovely day and we had participants attend from both our school programs, as well as our Citizens program. Thank you to all who came out!
WNY Ambassador Anthony Vignare sings the National Anthem at HP Challenge
Our WNY Ambassador Anthony Vignare sang the National Anthem at the 50 mile and 20 mile start for the HP Challenge. Anthony had an incredible time and even got to meet Anthony Kennedy Shriver and tried his first ever Lobster!!!
