On Saturday January 25th, Best Buddies in Pennsylvania hosted two simultaneous leadership trainings—one in Pittsburgh at Duquesne University and the other in Philadelphia at our amazing partner, Philadelphia Insurance Companies!

In Philadelphia, 58 high school and college chapter leaders from 29 schools across Eastern Pennsylvania came together to sharpen their skills and build connections. Meanwhile, over 30 passionate student leaders gathered at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh for an equally impactful day of learning and collaboration.

Both trainings featured interactive sessions on chapter management through BB360 powered by Salesforce, strategies for fostering inclusion, and information on our upcoming friendship walks. Attendees also engaged in Best Buddies Trivia, World Café table discussions, and learned more about our annual International Best Buddies Leadership Conference.

These events would not have been possible without the generous support of our partners, Philadelphia Insurance Companies and Duquesne University, as well as the dedication of our Student Advisory Board and volunteers. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Wilson’s Secret Sauce in Broomall and Pizza Malino in Pittsburgh for donating delicious lunches that fueled these productive gatherings.
