Recently, North Texas Ambassador, Tysen Churchman was invited to visit with Good Day Dallas at Fox News to promote the Friendship Walk and all things Best Buddies here in North Texas. As luck would have it, we discovered that Tysen is the FIRST person to ever use an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device during an interview at Good Day Dallas!

Tysen uses an app on his iPhone to communicate due to a communication impairment. It was a proud moment for Tysen to be able to represent others who use AAC devices to communicate as well. Representation matters.
