The funds will expand the organization\u2019s mission of inclusion through one-to-one friendships, leadership training, jobs, and integrated living opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event was hosted by Author, Producer, Director, Actress, and longtime Best Buddies supporter Vivica A. Fox<\/strong> and featured entertainment by Singer and Songwriter, Brandy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event celebrated mothers all around the world, particularly mothers of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During the event, Madeline Borkin, Vice President, Member Development and Executive Sponsor, Chief Diversity Officer Board at the Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), was presented with the 2022 Best Buddies\u2019 Mother of the Year award.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”164007″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1652289206852{margin-top: -25px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”164010″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”164021″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”right”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]Key highlights from the event include Best Buddies Talent Relations Board Member and Director of Philanthropy at SALXCO Rima Fakih Slaiby<\/strong> presenting Best Buddies Global Ambassador Joshua Felder with the inaugural Excellence in Leadership Award and Singer Brandy<\/strong> and SALXCO<\/strong> presenting Best Buddies International with a $50,000 donation<\/strong> to support the organization\u2019s mission of inclusion.<\/p>\n

This event, as always, brought together several celebrity supporters.
