The event will occur this year on Thursday, October 12th, at Strongwater Food & Spirits. Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).<\/p>\n

“I am honored to serve this organization as the 2023 Gala Chair. Best Buddies mission is incredibly close to my heart, and I want to do more to ensure everyone in our community is included. Serving as the Central Ohio Advisory Board Chair for Best Buddies for the past year has been an honor, and I look forward to advancing the mission of Best Buddies at this year’s Columbus Gala.” says Justin.<\/p>\n

Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).<\/p>\n

Ten community leaders will be nominated to compete to raise the most funds by the night of the Gala. Through raising funds and awareness for Best Buddies, Champions will generate countless opportunities\u202ffor friendships, jobs, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). After a 10-week campaign, guests will gather at Strongwater Food & Spirits, where the newest Grand Champion of the Year will be crowned.<\/p>\n

Justin is Founder & Chief Strategist for LASANAN DPD and the Best Buddies Central Ohio Advisory Board Chair. He has two children and lives in Columbus, OH.<\/p>\n
