Their friendship is a testament to the impact of Best Buddies’ mission. The organization’s Friendship programs build one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), offering social interactions while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion for a population that is often isolated and excluded.

Through their participation, people with IDD form meaningful connections with their peers, gain self-confidence and self-esteem, and share interests, experiences, and activities that many other individuals enjoy. Gabi and Cate’s friendship is a shining example of the transformative power of these programs.

Best Buddies Pennsylvania is dedicated to fostering such friendships and promoting inclusion. The organization offers various programs that cater to different age groups and needs, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy of friendship.

Join Best Buddies Pennsylvania and be part of this incredible journey of friendship and inclusion. Whether you’re looking to participate, volunteer, or donate, your support can make a difference in the lives of individuals like Gabi and Cate.
