Gabi, who had been involved with Best Buddies since college, welcomed Cate into the Best Buddies family when she joined the citizen\u2019s program. Their friendship quickly blossomed, and they became inseparable.<\/p>\n<p>Together, they&#8217;ve created countless memories, from attending a thrilling Steelers game to sharing a heartwarming Friendsgiving dinner. They&#8217;ve also participated in the Best Buddies Annual Friendship Walk, an event that celebrates the power of friendship and inclusion. On July 27th, they celebrated their one-year friendship anniversary, a day that marked the incredible journey they&#8217;ve shared.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi couldn&#8217;t help but reflect on their friendship. &#8220;Cate and I finally hit our one-year Best Buddies Anniversary! I can&#8217;t believe how fast it has flown,&#8221; she shared with a smile. &#8220;In such a short year, Cate and I have become more than friends. I consider her my sister, and I am so happy to be matched with her. I can&#8217;t wait for all the memories we will continue to make! Thank you, Cate, for being such an amazing person and an even better friend!
