Shriver<\/strong>, founder, chairman and CEO of Best Buddies International. \u201cWe\u2019re beyond grateful for the <em>Walk<\/em> participants, donors and employer partners who significantly impact the lives of those with IDD and are actively making not just South Florida, but the world, a more inclusive place.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Best Buddies in South Florida is proud to have over <strong>1,500<\/strong> (and counting) participants lacing up their shoes to walk for inclusion, all working to surpass 2023\u2019s fundraising goal of <strong>$300,000<\/strong>. Registration begins at <strong>8:00 a.m.<\/strong> and the event commences at 9:00 a.m. at the <strong>loanDepot Park<\/strong> at <strong>501 Marlins Way, Miami, FL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Following the <em>Friendship Walk<\/em>, please join Best Buddies for a day of fun, family, wellness and friendship. The day will be filled with activities for all ages including live entertainment, a batting cage, a Top Golf putting area, an obstacle courses, inflatables, face painting, complimentary food and beverages, photos with the Miami Marlins mascot Billy the Marlin and more. It will be an exciting event for children and adults with and without IDD.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the Friendship Walk support local programs that provide one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development and inclusive living for individuals with IDD.<\/p>\n<p>Walk for inclusion.
