[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”179111″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Albuquerque, NM, March 20, 2024<\/strong> \u2014 Gracie Flanagan<\/strong>, a participant of Best Buddies in New Mexico<\/strong>, the state branch of Best Buddies International<\/strong>, a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for friendship, employment, leadership development and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), has worked at Dion\u2019s Pizza<\/strong> since the summer of 2023 thanks to Best Buddies Jobs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At Dion\u2019s, Gracie, who has an IDD, works as a dining attendant, where she prepares and cleans tables and seats guests. Gracie works part-time, has flexible schedule and receives benefits including paid sick leave, mental health services access through their Employee Assistance Program and free food after a shift.<\/p>\n
