Her steadfast commitment to fostering inclusion and nurturing friendships has profoundly impacted our chapter and community.<\/p>\n<p>Under Dr. Kappel\u2019s visionary leadership, IUP has consistently achieved five-star chapter status, a testament to the chapter\u2019s excellence and dedication. With over 50 active members and more than 10 buddy matches, their chapter continues to thrive. These achievements were recognized at last year\u2019s Friendship Walk, where IUP proudly earned the prestigious Chapter of the Year award. Dr. Kappel has mentored former students who have gone on to become advisors themselves, ensuring the mission of friendship and inclusion spreads even further. Her guidance has sown the seeds for a legacy that will benefit countless individuals for years to come.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWorking with Best Buddies at IUP over the last ten years has been one of the most amazing things I have ever done. It has taught me the true value of friendship and has expanded my heart a million times.
